The Role of Microglia in the Brain


Microglia, often referred to as the brain's immune cells, play a pivotal role in maintaining the brain's health and functionality. Synaptic Pruning. Microglia are actively involved in synaptic pruning, a process crucial for refining neural connections during development and adapting to new experiences.
